Posterior antennae tri-articulate, very long, arm-like ; mouth placed some distance behind these. First four pairs of thoracic limbs biramose, triarticulate, setiferous ; fifth pair aborted or uniramose. Abdomen consisting of three joints, terminating in caudal plates provided with long bristles.
