Palpi porrect, long, rostriform, and downcurved; maxillary palpi large and dilated Avith scales; frons with a conical prominence ; antennae thickened and flattened; tibiae with the outer spurs half the length of inner. Fore wing typically long and narrow ; vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 well separated at origin ; 7 straight and Avell separated from 8, 9.
