The Secretary read the folloAving report on the additions to the Society's Menagerie during the month of February 1899 :- The total number of registered additions to the Society's Menagerie during the month of February Avas 112, of which 31 were by presentation, 6 by birth, 43 by purchase, and 32 on deposit. The total number of departures during the same period by death and removals was 104. Amongst the additions special attention may be called to the fine series of Cassowaries deposited by the Hon. AValter Bothschild, F.Z.S., Avhich now embraces examples of the following eight species:-Casuarius bicarunculatus, C. australis, C. salvadorii, C. beccarii, C. violicollis, G. occipitalis, G. bennetti, and C.papuanus.
