Host: gills of Serranus sp. Muscat. G. 11. PSEUDOCYCNUS Heller. Head oval. Thorax with three segments, bearing small lateral lobes. Genital segment long (3 times that of cephalothorax). Abdomen short, broad. Caudal appendages very small, simple. Anterior antennae 3-joiuted. Posterior antenna? small, uncinate. Second maxillipeds as moderately strong biarticulate hooks. Five pairs of rudimentary limbs ; the first and third uniramose, the second biramose; fourth aud fifth minute, stump-like; the last rising from the posterior extremity of the genital segment. Genital segment oval. Abdomen short. Caudal plates small, setiferous. Anterior antennae 6 jointed. Posterior antennae 2-jointed, uncinate ; second maxilliped slender.
