Show BEVERLY J. WHITE Appointed 1971 Elected Beverly was Larson, in born Salt Sept. Lake 1928 to Gus R. Sterzer and Helene Utah. She was el ected to be the Utah State Democratic secretry and served for 18 years. She has been the treasurer of the Order of Women Legislators since 1972. She was also National Treas. White was appointed in 1971 to serve out the term of Rep. Chilean Halliday, who died in office. She then ran for the seat and was elected ten times. She has served longer, consecutively than any other woman in history in the House of Representatives. Rep.
