Show She Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives of As cha ir of the public welfare committee os the House, she introduced and successfully sponsored the bill providing for Utah's acceptance of the federal Sheppard-Towner Act "to promote the weI fare and hygiene of infancy and materni ty." As vice chair of the Education committee she promoted a measure which empowered the state universities to assist their respective faculty members in procuring old age annuities. a was 1923 24. - I In 1929 she worked for the for legislation which provided establ ishment of the Utah for mental I y state Training School deficient children.
