Show ZELILA Elected M. 1935 MAESER to 1937 When Zelila was but a child her father, John G. McQuarrie, was called to be presdident of the Eastern states Mission of the L.D.s. Church with headquarters in New York. Here the McQuarrie family spent eight or more years and Zelila received her early schooling. With his mission term over, John and Maggie Seegmiller McQuarrie, his wife, and their family returned to Utah to make their horne in Beaver. Here Zelila met Sherwin Maeser, whose horne was in jBeaver, and they married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 4, 1914. Two choldren were born to them, a daughter and a son.
