Show ENHANCE YOUR EXPERIENCE Q!}ESTIONS TO CONSIDER How does each of these works relate to modern life in Utah? Why would the curators choose to mix up different styles and media throughout the exhibition, rather than organize the works by theme, subject, or genre? Which work of art is most interesting to you? Why? WANT TO SEE MORE OF AN ARTIST? This is a QR code: Whenever you see a symbol like this, it means the artist has a full website where you can see more examples of his/her work. If you have a smartphone with the right application, you can scan these codes to link directly to the website. TELL us WHAT You THINK As you tour the Spring Salon you will encounter "Conversation Stations" where you are invited to respond to a specific work of art in the exhibition, or ideas and questions presented by others. Conversation Station locations will change frequently, so check back on every visit to join in the conversation . CAST YOUR VOTE This year we invite you to vote for your favorite artwork. Five pieces of art will be represented with penny voting boxes near the Main Entrance. Each cent donated will count for one vote for that piece of art work. Every week the works will change and the winner will be showcased on SMA's Facebook page. This stems from an old Museum tradition of "penny voting'-irrthe early-days of the Salon. Look for the history near the boxes. |
