Sun Tunnels Viewing with Nancy Holt October 20 I 6 pm D on't miss th is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view Sun Tunnels at sunset with the artist herself Participants must arrange their own transportation . Art Talk: "Sun Tunnels: Construction/Reconstruction" October 23 I 4 pm This art talk begins with a viewing of Nancy Holt's short film, Sun Tunnels, which chronicles her creation of the famous earthwork in Utah's desert After viewing the film, professors Hikmet Sidney Loe and Paul Stout will give a presentation on their reconstruction work on Sun Tunnels in 20 I 0. Artist Talk: Conversation with salt 6 artist Emre Huner October 25 I 7 pm Join us for a conversation with salt 6 artist Emre Huner, and Jill Dawsey, Associate Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. After the conversation, be the first to see the sixth salt installation in the gallery. |
