Dear Docents: If you have not already done sot please set aside one of these dates to attend and inform me of your chosen date by August 14th: You should have received a. request to save the date for sensitivity training later this month. This training is a wonderful opportu~ nlty for us all to examine the ways in which we present ourselves in the Museum in order to make the Museum an inclusive place for every visitor. I hope this training will be meaningful to you not just here at the Museum, but in aH your activities. I hope it will help us all to become champions for diversity in our communities. As mentioned in the save the Friday.August 24th (Thursday and Friday docents encouraged to attend this day) Saturday, August 25th (Weekend docents encouraged to attend this day} Tuesday.August 28th (Tuesday and Wednesday docents encouraged to attend this day} date. we are working with the Inclusion Center to customize this training. so t am confident it will turn out to be a great experience, Block off the day of your choice from 9 am to 2 pm; the training may not take that full time but we would like you to be available if it does. Please make every effort possible to attend.
