Show exhibitions THE Exhibition Focus On: "Mormon Meteor Ill" The "Mormon Meteor Ill" is one of the best-known cars to have ever raced on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Driven by former Salt Lake City Mayor, Ab Jenkins, the legendary racer holds more long-distance land speed records than any other automobile in history, twelve of which still stand today. When its racing days came to an end, the " Mormon Meteor Ill" was displayed in the Utah State Capitol building, and was then lovingly restored by Ab Jenkins' son, Marvin, and the Price Museum of Speed. See this outstanding automobile and eighteen other legends on wheels in the Museum's special exhi bition, Speed: The Art. of the Performance Automobile, on view through September 16.
