Show I I th annual docent retreat Thursday, September 6, 2012 9:30 am to 2:30 pm You are invited to -attend the eleventh annual docent retreat. Get to know your fellow docents and Museum volunteers while investigating contemporary art and book arts. Once again, Janie Rogers is graciously hosting us at her family's ranch nestled in the mountains above Park City. 9:30 AM Light Break(ast, Coffee, and Good Conversation Hosted by the 2012-13 Steering Committee I 0:00 AM Group Art Activity: Create a collaborative contemporary art piece exploring ideas found in the upcoming exhibition Nancy Holt: Sightlines. I I : I 5 AM Speaker: A guest from the Marriott Library's Book Arts Department will talk to us about book arts. The Museum is hosting the Guild of Book Worker's exhibition, titled Horizons, this fall. 12:30 PM I :30 PM 2:30 PM Lunch Individual Art Activity: Take inspiration from our speaker and create your own decorative +.J book from folded paper.
