Journ. ii. p. 158 (1834). 1 Very doubtfully distinct from Otomys. 2 Three figures of molar teeth, representing those characteristic of the Den-dromyince Murines, and Sigmodontince respectively, will be found in m y paper on Lcomy's (P. Z. S. 1888, p. 130, pl. v. figs. 7, 10, and 9). On that occasion, when describing Beomys, I had supposed the genus to form a new subfamily, not knowing how closely its molar teeth agreed with those of tbe Bendromyina, in which I now think it should be included. |
