The male is noted as " Black Ringlet" and the female as " Black Ringlet with eyes," the ocelli being larger in this sex. 2. SAMANTA PERSPICUA. Mycalesis perspicua, Trimen, Trans. Ent. Soc. A single male, probably representing the dry-season form of this species; it differs chiefly from the typical form in its inferior size and the minute ocelli of the under surface. 6.
