Tail twice and a half to three times as long as head and body; upper caudal scales strongly keeled, basal subcaudals smooth. Cream-colour or pale buff above, with seven brown or black stripes as wide as or wider than the interspaces between them ; lower parts white. I have examined 13 specimens from Lugh, Somaliland, collected by Dr. Bottego.
