Formerly it was supposed that the two types of female indicated distinct species, but they are probably temperature forms. Wherever the species occurs, both types are to be found; the present series contains typical females of L. bibulus and L. durbani. 58. HYREUS PALEMON. Papilio palemon, Cramer, Pap.
