HYRIA ANGUSTA, sp. n. Primaries above dull vinaceous purple ; a broad oblique central golden ochreous band from inner margin to above the median vein, impinged upon at its anterior extremity by a blackish spot at the end of the cell; fringe golden ochraceous, somewhat stained wdth dull purplish at the base : secondaries bright golden ochreous, with a black dot at the end of the cell; outer border and basal half of fringe dull vinaceous purple : body sericeous dark vinaceous greyish; shaft of antenna? silvery, slightly huffish at base: under surface of wings nearly as above, but the basi-internal area of primaries sericeous and somewhat silvery ; legs and centre of venter pale buff.
