I do not know this species in nature, but from the description judge it to be very near R. unicolor and R. libeon. 325. R. AESCHYLUS, Ploetz. Ismene ceschylus, Ploetz, S. E. Z. vol. xlv. p. 65 (1884). Hab. Senegal (Ploetz). The description applies quite well to R. chalybe, Westw., in everything except the colour of the fringes of the secondaries, which are said to be white shading into orange at the anal angle, and the head, which is said to be red.
