Show ANGEL FLIGHT Angels provide for AFROTC cadets Angel Flight is a nation-wide organization of college women set up in connection with the Air Force ROTC program. There are forty Angels in the University of Utah's ranks this year; and there are 139 such flights on campuses across the country. The girls act as sponsors and supporters to the Air Force cadets; they also serve in various capacities in the University and in the Salt Lake community. They help with usual service organizations' duty of ushering at games and theatrical productions; they also aid in setting up voting booths for ASUU elections in the spring, and actively support University activities such as the Song Fest. In offering assistance to the community, the military sponsors served in the National Easter Seal Society, the March of Dimes Telerama, and worked to cheer up some of the younger inmates of the County Detention Home. Included among the group's itinerary for the year were slumber parties, early breakfasts with the AFROTC's, and holiday parties, along with their weekly meetings. 1. Linda Wayne 2. Brenda Boyd 3.
