Sigma Nu has brought honors to the University in the past, not only through Homecoming, but in athletics and community service. Brothers served in cheerleading, sports. Student Regulations Committee, Fraternity Advisory Committee, the Chronicle, LaCrosse and tennis teams. Brothers co-sponsored the annual Pi Beta Phi-Sigma Nu street dance. Christmas time found the two Greek groups together again in substituting for Santa. Ranch Week was the highlight of spring quarter. Sigma Nus sported cowboy hats and boots and grew beards for the week. With bales of hay and a board fence, the men westernized their house to celebrate Founder's Day in cowboy fashion. White Rose queen was crowned at the Spring Formal, bringing the school year to a close. She will reign over next year's activities at the Sigma Nu house, which promise to be even better than this year's. 224 |
