Show LITTLE SISTERS Extremely nice fringe benefits Little Sisters were instigated as social-service organizations in conjunction with several of the campus' eleven fraternities. The girls are chosen at dances and other fraternity functions; final selection is made on the basis of interview by invitation. The female sponsors take care of such domestic duties of the house as cleaning, decorating for parties, even cooking occasional meals for the boys. Needless to say, there are several extremely nice fringe benefits which make it worthwhile, at least for most of the little sisters, such as the proximity to a variety of available young men, a place to go for help with classes, study, or just plain talk, and close fellowship with other girls in the atmosphere of a "miniature sorority". The competition is strong for membership in the sisters groups; the girls do not mind the chores expected of them, and will even gladly endure the outlandish humiliations of "Slave Auction" and "Goat Nights" to become fully initiated.
