Show YOUNG, PEOPLES THEATRE Fantasy delights young audiences The Young People's Theatre put on four plays and toured various High Schools and Junior High Schools. Most performers are university students but because of the nature of the plays, many young people are also used. Vern Adix is the man who supervises these productions and his years of experience and insight insure success and delight for young audiences. Four plays full of fantasy were presented this year: Homer Price, The Bremen Town Musicians, two adaptations for children by Vern Adix and Keith Engar, and The Wild Swans, a David Kranes dramatization. Left: Homer Price (Craig Pease) instructs friendly skunk (Sharon Wolfe) how to live indoors. Far Left: Cavara-dossi (Glade Peterson) bids farewell to Tosca (Ariel Bybee) before being taken to prison. Above Extreme Far Left: Tosca revels with Scarpio's death (Don Watts). Above Far Left: She is about to kill him. Above Left: Robbers Galen Chatterton, Bruce Robinson, and Jim Bracklien hold Bremmen Town musicians Craig Cook, Peter Sorensen and Eliz Darley for ransom.
