The condition of the median canal in 11 instances is recorded. In two of these young had been produced, and it was closed. In one young had been produced, and it was open. In one young had probably not been produced, for it was a young one, and the median canal was closed. As to the remaining seven, in which the question is uncertain, six of them had the canal closed, and one only had it open.
