In a letter of the same date Mr. Brown states that he was hoping to be able shortly to spend a week at Spacious Bay or some other place in N e w Britain, where he would be able to make a more extensive collection. The present collection contains thirty-five skins referable to thirty species. The exact localities being marked in every case, I think it advisable to give a perfect list of the species.
