Cowper's glands and a prostate are present; and the apex of the glans penis is not trilobed as in Tatusia, but simple, as in Dasypus and Tolypeutes. Tbe penis itself is huge. In Tolypeutes, according to Dr. Murie, the vesicular seminales are also absent. In Tatusia peba and T. hybrida the vesiculae seminales are laroe, and there is a pair of lateral lobes to the apex of the glans penis.
