Q Do you remember one occasion when you and your brother were coming up there when you were going home for Christmas, were you with your brother that time? A No sir. Q You were not with him? A No sir. Q Can you tell me when you were on this river between Moab and the mouth of the Green? A One trip in 1926, I am most sure. Q What month? A It would be in March. Q Who was with you on that trip? A My brother. Q How far up the river did you go? THE SPECIAL MASTER: Which river is this? MR. BLACKMAR: This is on the Colorado towards Moab. A We went up the river to Moab on the river. Q How did you make the trip, what equipment did you have, and how did you get it up there? A We didn't have much equipment, by the time we had run from Greenriver to the junction of the Green and Colorado, we had our camp stuff left, and the like of that, but not very much grub; we was getting low on grub; so we made it from the junction to Moab about as fast as we could. 3107 |
