Show Baldwin- D 1186 Utah, and Greenriver, Utah,-- the country that line between that road and the Green river and the Colorado river? Q Does the ground appear to be rocky? A Yes, very rocky; sand in between, quite a bit blow sand where I was. Q Anybody live up in there? A Not as I know of; that is off the road. Q Any of that land up there look like far land to you? A Along the road between Greenriver and Moab there is just a place there about half- way -- some land there that locks like it might be farmed, or tried to farm it. Q Is that an irrigation proposition, or dry farming? A They had a little reservoir built there at one time, to catch the water during rains, to use that for irrigating; when that was gone they were out of luck. Q About how many acres would you say that was? A Oh, I don't know; I imagine know five or six sections in 3158 |
