Show Prommel- D 1018 La Sal National Forest; is that the one? I believe it was a little to the west, your Honor. THE SPECIAL MASTER: May I see that map west of the Green river, please. ( Complainant's exhibit No. 124 was thereupon marked by the reporter.) BY MR. BLACKMAR: Does Exhibit 124 show the location of these wells near the Colorado river? Yes, it does; shows the location of four of the wells; it does not show location of the last well drilled, just about a mile, as I said, north of this Frank Shafer well. We we will have it, suppose you take a pencil and indicate on there just where that other well is. Maybe your better do it with a fountain pen. That ( indicating) would be approximate. This well I mark, the location should be a little bit further down; it is right on the river. This was a location only; the derrick was put up, but that well was not drilled. That was the first location. The other one would fall right close to it. You have marked it with a pen circle? Yes. What does the pink color or that map indicate? The pink color on that map indicates the outcrop of formations between the Wingate sandstone and the Shafer limestone. 2990 |
