MR. BLACKMAR: I object to that, for the reason the witness has not testified to anything of the kind on it. I think you ought to ask him what the conditions were, instead of trying to state the testimony to him. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think he can say whether the conditions on one part of the river are similar or other wice to those on another part. MR.
