A Well, there is some pretty stiff riffles between there I don't believe a man could row over, but he could tow his boat over those and get up there some way or other for that distance. Q Did you see any other boats on that section of the river when you were in there? A At Moab, yes. Q I am talking about above Moab. A Yes; there was those boats at Moab that was running down into those oil wells. Q I am asking you about the section above Moab. A No, I didn't see any other boats up there. Q How many times have you been on the Colorado river between Moab and the point where the Green river flows in? A I have been up that river three or four times; never been down. Coming down the Green river we always went on into Moab, up the Colorado to Moab. Q Just tell me what difficulties, if any, you encountered going up that stream. A Well, it is always bad enough with a bow boat; some of it you row, some of it you tow your boat the best you can.
