Show Prommel- RD 1032 REDIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Mr. Prommel, when you were on the stand I neglected to ask you if you operated any skiffs or other boats on the Colorado river? A We used two boats during the work on the Colorado river. Q What kind of boats? A Row boats; one of them was about, roughly, fifteen feet long, four feet wide, I should say. Q How much draft? A Oh, they were shallow draft boats; they might have been about twelve- inch draft, something on that order, when loaded. Q The other boat was the same? A It was a very small boat; I didn't use it, myself; Mr. Crum used it once or twice. Q In that boat that you had to do with, how many different times were you on the Colorado river? A About four or five times crossing the river. Q And at what points? A At a pint below our main camp, between the King Creek anti-cline and the Shafer anticline, just below what we called Sorghum camp. Q Did you cross at the same point several times? A Yes sir. Q Did you have occasion to observe the conditions of the river 3004 |
