Show Prommel- D 1016 THE SPECIAL MASTER: Is that particularly important, what the cost of these wells is? MR. BLACKMAR: I think so, your honor. THE SPEICAL MASTER: All right. A I couldn't tell you exactly the cost per foot, as I didn't have anything to do with the actual drilling of the well, but to my knowledge -- MR. FARNSWORTH: If he does not know -- A I know the total amount -- the least amount that has been expended. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Don't you know that just from what somebody has told you? A No; I have that in writing. Q In writing, but from other people's reports? A From the president of the company, that drilled some of the wells. MR. FARNSWORTH: That is hearsay. MR. BLACKMAR: yes, I think so. We will that pass. Q Have there recently been some wells drilled over in the San Juan -- over near the San Juan river? A Yes; in 1926 -- 1927 there was one well drilled on the San Juan anticline; another well on Cedar mesa, north of the San Juan river; another well considerably north of the San Juan, on the Elk ridge anticline. Q Where are those wells with reference to Bluff? 2988 |
