It is no doubt most nearly allied to Eliomys (Dryomys, subg. n.) nitidulus* Pall., but may be readily distinguished by the rather more complicated pattern of its teeth, its small bullae, the absence of the angular foramen in its mandible, and its peculiar and characteristic colour-pattern. These characters are all brought out in Reuvens's descriptions and figures, and do not need further reference here.] 26. Mus n orvegicus Erxl. 3 . 21. Jozankei, Sapporo, Hokkaido. 3 . 96, 97.
