In every respect like Javan specimens. The geographical distribution of this species is certainly a curious fact amongst the Rallidce. It has been observed in the islands of Java and Sumatra, in the peninsula of Malacca, in the Philippines, and now for the first time in the Pelew group. 14. ARDEA SACRA, Gm.
