Show January 29 I 1969 Elder Marion D. Hanks Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 47 East South Temple Salt Lake City, Utah Dear Elder Hanks: During recent weeks, Dr. Everett Cooley ha s left the Historical Society for a position at the University of Utah, and I have taken over the functions he formerly filled here. Among the unfinished business items I find is a letter of December 6 addressed to you. On looking through our flles, I have been unable to find a reply to it and feel that I should probably write inquiring what action has been taken. Like Dr. Cooley, I would be very happy to see the Beehive House named as a national historic building and feel that it should be Hsted in the National Register. Perhaps you could tell me if you have sent information, and, 1£ not, provide it or give me directions on how I can find the information about which he inquired.
