By George W, Carter, President GWC/cj Following the reading of the letter the President reported that budget requests for the ensuing year have been issued to Deans, Directors and Department Heads. The President stated that cost-of-living increases must, of course, be a consideration of the Board. After the requests are in, the salary figures thereon will be studied by the administration and the budget for the ensuing year prepared for consider- ation by the faculty and finance committees of the Board. Following a suggestion that the letter from Profes- sor Carter be submitted to the Faculty Committee of the Board for study and a report, Regent Holbrook so moved, which was seconded by Regent Bamberger and carried. The following letter from Mr. Paul McDonough, President of the U Men‘s Club was read by Chairman O'Connor. March 7, 1952 Mr. William J.
