Show ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER OF MRS, HUDNUT TO GIVE MORE WORKS OF ART It was reported by the President that Mrs, Richard L, Hudnut, donor of the Hudnut Collection, is now visiting in Salt Lake City, and is offering the University other works of art. for payment of only the cost of crating and shipping, estimated The President was in favor of ac- at approximately $500. 00, cepting this offerg Regent Adam S, Bennion thereupon moved approval, seconded by Regent Bowen and carried, SPEECH AND HEARING CENTER TO OCCUPY QUARTERS IN QHILDREN"S HOSPITAL The Children"s Hospital, located on the upper campus, is now ready for occupancy and the Universityls Speech and Hearing Center has been invited to occupy a part of the building, since this Department has developed a program which is clOsely allied to the work of the Hospital The following reports of the Finance Commit-tee for the months of August and September were presented: FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORTS FOR AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER APPROVED CERTIFICATE OF FINANCE COMMITTEE Board of Regents University of Utah Salt Lake City, Utah Ladies and Gentlemen: Your Finance Committee begs leave to report as follows: We have examined the attached list of vouchers total- ling -$ 471, 822. 33 33%, aswellas the foregoing certificate of the Secretary of the Boardtpif Regents appended thereto. The said certificate is in satisfactory form, and we recommend that the disbursements made, as so certified, be approved.
