ADDITIONS TO FACULTY: LYLE BORST ELMO MORGAN ' Recent additions to the faculty represent some very distinguished personsy some of whom are: ' _ Er. Lyle Eorst - Nuclear Physicist who built the reactors at Brookhaven laboratory; lira Elmo R Morgan =- Coordinator of Cooperative Re-= search), who is doing a fine job of picking up loose ends on cooperative research contracts The September 7, 1951i issue of Los Alamos Herald; Los Alamos, New Mexicov featured his picture and an article concerning his resignation as Los Alamos Field Manager of AEC and his acceptance of a position as Coordinator of Co== operative Research at the University of Utah effective October 1» 1951‘, His resignation was referred to as a distinct loss to the Los Alamos Atomic Weapons Program" The President also reported that he had re- ceived a letter from [Senator Wallace Bennett expressing satisfaction in this appointment by the University Administration |
