McKay for his Commencement address, had been returned by him as an unrestricted gift to the University Alumni Develop Fund. A check for $15, 000.00 has been received by the University Medical School from the Natibnal Fund for Medical Education President Olpin is a member Of the Advisory Committee of the National Fund. Regent Bowen moved the adoption of the President's recommenda- tions, which Was seconded by Regent Holbrook and carried. $15, 000 RECEIVED FROM NATIONAL FUND FOR MEDICAL EDUCATION The President next reported the receipt of a letter from the Secretary of the Board of Examiners refusing the BOARD OF EXAMINERS REPLY TO . REGENTS LETTER; IN RELATION To ‘ DECLARATORY JUDGMENT request made by the Board of Regents to turn over to the University all unexpended funds, belonging to the University of Utah, now on deposit with the State. This request was made prior to the filing of the declaratory judgment. It was announced that the annual meeting of the Associ- ation of GOverning Boards will be held at Texas A. & M. Col- lege, College Station, October 9 to 12; at University of Texas, Austin, October 13 and concluding in San Antonio the night of October 13 and morning of October 14. President Olpin called attention to the excellent program scheduled for this meeting and recommended that the Board be repre- sented.
