Listing in the National Register is intended to encourage preservation as well as provide recognition of a property's significance. A 20 percent federal tax credit is available for substantial rehabilitation of residential rental and commercial properties. In addition, a 20 percent state tax credit is available for the rehabilitation of historic residential properties. We are pleased to assist the owners of properties listed in the National Register with either application process should they wish to apply.
