Show t\ \J ,) t.. 1,997 Utah Department of Transportation c/o Mr. Byron Parker Region Two 2060 South 2400 West Salt Lake City, Utah 84104 Dear Mr. Parker: I own a home within Davis County's first National Historic District. Any proposals for the "Legacy Highway" or "Highway 89" that effect the West State Street historic district are covered by State and Federal Preservation Laws. Our neighborhood has requested to be an "Interested Party" under section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and under Utah 9-8404. I am writing to document our request. The Clark Lane Historical Preservation Association is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization incorporated in June 1992 by homeowners to help create the National Historic District . The Clark Lane National Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 7, 1994. This district includes all homes from 200 West State Street to 400 West State Street in Farmington, Utah. Please see attached map of the district. Because the Clark Lane Historical Preservation Association represents the interest of homeowners and others in this district, we have requested legal status as "Interested Party" under section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and Utah 9-8-404. I understand under section 106, we would be notified whenever a "Adverse Effect" agreement effecting our district has been filed by state or federal agencies. ma.,. &..£ O@¥::~ sp m t ' BLe:tt..e£~.wa&.. sent " to Farming.~_Ci..t.~ Co.r..por:ati.on and tfre UtaBr.MiI' a«al.
