Q I am speaking now not about your present existing working properties, Mr. Varley. Has there been any campaign of research and investigation comparable, for instance, to the Tintic district, or the Park City district, or the Bingham district? A None that I know of. Q Is that a sparsely settled country? A Very much so. Q Merely at the beginning of any system made development in the way of its mineral resources? A Been very little done. MR. FARNSWORTH: That is all. CROSS EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Mr. Varley, the Big Indian is still a prospect, isn't it? A I wouldn't say it was a prospect; I would say it is a mine, now. I think it is a mine, no doubt about that. MR. BLACKMAR: That is all. |
