Show 7556 5534 the argument the next week? MR. BLACKMAR: I think that is perfectly satisfactory; that will be in the second week of April. THE SPECIAL MASTER: How long do you gentlemen think you want to argue? I will warn you gentlemen that counsel in the New Mexico- Texas case asked for six days between them. They argued three solid days, six hours a day, and their argument would have been just twice as good if it had been half as long We need not fix the time now, but we will fix the beginning of the time for argument; I will hold that week; you can adjust it between you, from the 7th on. MR. BLACKMAR: I am quite sure I am not going to require three days. THE SPECIAL MASTER: If you don't think you are going to take more than a couple of days -- MR. BLACKMAR: I think we should finish in two days. MR. FARNSWORTH: I think so. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Tentatively, put it the 9th, that will give you four days of that week. By agreement of counsel, briefs for the government shall be served on counsel and filed with the Master on March 3rd, 1930; that the brief of the stat shall be filed with the Master and served on counsel for the government on April 2nd, |
