Q At the present time are you in any way associated with the company that is operating the Big Indian mind? A Yes sir. Q What is the name of that company? A Big Indian Copper Company. Q Is that owned by the Loose interests? A Loose and Smoot interests. Q Just tell us what kind of property that is, will you? A It is a low grade copper deposit in sandstone; the copper is disseminated throughout the limestone in the form of azurite and malachite, copper minerals, an occasional amount of cuprite, a red oxide of copper; a small amount of metallic copper. Q What work has been done towards developing and learning the extent of the deposits? A I don't know just how long the deposit has been known, but the evidence are that as long as twenty- five years ago they sunk shafts at various places on the property, run several tunnels, and about five years ago made quite an extensive -- I can't get the word -- in other words, they sank these drill- |
