Show 7508 Voorhees- D 5487 and another one was twenty- two feet and six foot beam; the other one was about a twenty- four foot boat with possibly eight foot beam, I guess seven and a half, I never measured it. Q And the draft? A motion, or standing in the water? Q Suppose you give them standing in the water, and then in motion. A Well, the boat I used most, the twenty- two foot boat, had the deepest draft. Standing still in the water would take twenty- four or twenty- six inches, that is, to ride free, guard and all. Q Did you operate any of those boats yourself? A Always, cractically always. Q Have you ever taken any trips with Clarence Baldwin? A Yes sir. Q About how many? A I couldn't say for sure; eight or ten times, anyway. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Who owned these boats? A Why, my company owned two of them, and the Moab Garage owned one; the Moab Garage owned two of them at one time, and we took one over from them as our own property. |
