Show 7505 Yokey- D 5484 thousand pounds; the balance was hauled to Wimmer's ranch. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q What supplies were hauled from Halverson's ranch? A Mr. Richardson said he wanted about ten tons of supplies taken down, together with the engineering party. I took a thousand pounds from Greenriver. Didn't want to take a full load, for fear I wouldn't make the turn at the Auger. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Strike that out. You took a thousand pounds from Greenriver. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What, if any, did you take from Halverson's ranch? A The balance, whatever it was there; he claims there was ten tons, I took from Halverson's ranch. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Was what before or after Mr. Wimmer -- A That was before; the survey for the proposed dam was completed before Mr. Wimmer got on the job; I was coming back with the party. Q That bad to do entirely with the survey party, and not with the drilling party? A That was for the survey party. THE SPECIAL MASTER: The situation is that what Mr. Yokey was testifying to was not the drilling expedition, but some previous expedition which also took down in the neighborhood of ten tons. I think that explains it. |
