Show 7435 Wolverton- C 5414 A 1903, 1904 and 1905, I should say; it has been quite a while since I have been there, and I am a little bit hazy on those dates. Q But then, that is approximately correct? A That is as near as I can recollect. Q What did you do with those thirty or forty tons that you took out of there? A Some of it went to Denver, usually for experimental purposes; we wanted to find the best method of concentration. Q And most of it was shipped to Denver? A No, not the most that we took out was shipped to Denver, but at least several tons. Q Several tons went to Denver? Where did the rest go? Where did the rest of it go? A Lays right where we left it. Q Where did you leave it? A We left some at Elgin. Q Where did you leave the rest? A Some of it in below little valley on Green river; some of it at my ranch, opposite my ranch. Q Some of it on the bank opposite your ranch? A Yes. Q And what was the object of leaving part of that ore at Little valley? A I don't remember the occasion for leaving it there. |
