A It was just a flat bottom skiff they used when they went down from Grant Junction. Q Did you see any boats at Moab? There were small boats they used to cross it back and forth, people that lived there, two or three; and the ferry boat there. Q That is, those small boats were row boats? A Just row boats, yes. BY THIS SPECIAL MASTER: Q Did you go into the town of Moab? A No, didn't go up to the town; the town is a little ways over; we camped on the right- hand side. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Then from Moab where did you go? A Went out to the railroad at Thompson Springs, north. Q How did you get out there? A We walked about thirty miles. Q After you reached Thompson Springs, then where did you go? A We went on to Salt Lake |
