Show 4069 H. Zahn- C 2090 answered yes? A No, I didn't. Q Now, do you mean what you just now answered, that you formed no opinion, and have no opinion as to how old they were? MR. BLACKMAR: I object to that question. The witness has not stated anything of the kind, I don't think, Mr. Farnsworth. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think the question is plain. I think the witness's answers are plain. He said he didn't understand your question to mean that he thought the structures were old. He said he found them in good condition, and he does not know what age they were. MR. FARNSWORTH: Counsel is objecting to my question because he says the witness did not state just what your Honor says. MR. BLACKMAR: No. I object to your question because you are trying to put something into his mouth that he did not say. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think I understand perfectly what the witness has answered and what Mr. Farnsworth has asked. I think the questions have been answered. MR. BLACKMAR: With the understanding that it is as your Honor states it, that there is no ambiguity about that, and that is what he intended, I am content. I have nothing further to ask. |
