Show 3932 Edwards- C 1952 A Why, certainly ( Complainant's Exhibits Nos. 322 to 241, inclusive, were thereupon marked by the reporter.) BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Mr. Edwards, yesterday you spoke of making some marks on the rocks on your journey down the Green river in the Major Powell. A Yes sir. Q How many such marks did you make? THE SPECIAL MASTER: In the Major Powell? MR. FARNSWORTH: Yes. A We probably made fifty or sixty. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q And those marks were placed by you so you would remember where the channel was going down? A I think, if I remember right, we made a little diagram as we went along, of which I though I had a copy, but I am unable to find it now, and a chart. Q You made marks on the rocks, too? A Yes sir, with paint. Q With paint? A Yes, sir. Q Took the paint along specially that purpose, did you? A I think it was some paint we had left after we painted the boats. |
